VBS, HBP, and VBS (Very Beachy Sunday)

Hey!

I have just had like the busiest week ever!!!! I had to teach VBS at a nearby church every morning from 8:45 till 12:00 and then I had work at First Baptist in the afternoon from 2:30 to 5:30! VBS was actually a lot of fun. I taught the 3rd and 4th graders and ended up having the biggest class; a sum total of 12 kids! The teaching part was a bit scary because I've never taught a lesson before, but it got better as the week progressed.

Actually I'm not at work at First Baptist today nor will I be there tomorrow because we had two confirmed cases of swine flu and I've been exposed to it! So, the school has been closed today. Yeah! For paid vacation!

After my crazy week I went out and saw Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince and I loved it!!!! It's been almost 2 years since a Harry Potter movie has come out and so it was great going back to Hogwarts once again. I always loved this book (second to The Chamber of Secrets) and I think they did a good job on it. Especially with Malfoy and anyone who has read the book will understand what I'm talking about! He was amazing and sooo convincing!

Then yesterday, my family took a day trip to out most favorite place in the whole world! The cottage! I missed that place sooooo much! It was beautiful yesterday and it was so great to be back on the beach! Actually my parents had a show to do up there and they were renting the cottage and they thought it would be a great weekend get away for the whole family. I could have laid out there in the sun and listen to the waves all day long! I love it!

 Wow! It's been a while since I've actually posted something about my life! Anyway, if you made it through this post leave a comment that says 'Movie, beach, and three-day vacation!'

Kevin J. is Engaged!

Hey!

 OMJ! I could not believe it when I got on Facebook last night and saw the engagement announcement for Kevin Jonas and his girlfriend (now fiancee) Danielle Deleasa!!!

Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,” parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. say in a statement to PEOPLE. “Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.

 Then I went online today and found a cool article by PEOPLE magazine.

Kevin Jonas surprised his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa by showing up at her doorstep in New Jersey early Wednesday morning and dropping down to his knee to ask her to marry him. Presented with a cushion-cut diamond ring that Jonas designed with Jacob & Co., Deleasa couldn’t believe what was happening.

Then, “She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” the oldest of the Jonas Brothers tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Jonas, 21, and Deleasa, 22, who met in May of 2007 while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas, haven’t set a wedding date yet. “It still feels like a dream,” she tells PEOPLE.

Overnight Flight

When Deleasa, a former hairdresser, first met Jonas two years ago, she admits, “I didn’t know who the Jonas Brothers were.” It was Kevin who eagerly pursued her after meeting her and then spotting her walking on the beach with a flower in her hair.

Jonas popped the question after arriving in New Jersey on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver. “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world,” he says.
